Patrick Sayles, DVM — Chief of Staff
Dr. Patrick Sayles, our Chief of Staff, has been with VetSelect Animal Hospital since 1985. Originally from Detroit, Dr. Sayles now lives in Livonia. He attended MSU earning both his undergraduate and DVM degrees. Dr. Sayles has special veterinary interests in cosmetic surgery such as ear cropping.
In his spare time, Dr. Sayles enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, gardening, as well as watching college football and basketball. He has a twelve year-old cat named Luna.
Hollie Rebo, DVM
Dr. Hollie Rebo is originally from the Upper Peninsula, but has worked in the Detroit metro area since 2007. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Northern Michigan University and later a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Western Michigan University (WMU). In 2006, Dr. Rebo completed her education with a DVM degree from Michigan State University.
Dr. Rebo has been with VetSelect for the past five years, having worked at both our Dearborn and Dearborn Heights locations. Her veterinary interests include surgery, client education and teaching.
During grad school, Dr. Rebo worked at Blinder Park Zoo in Battle Creek as a Zookeeper, held an internship at the Minnesota Zoo, and participated in a Veterinary Study Abroad program in Southern India. Dr. Rebo has also taught as a college instructor at WMU and Wayne State University. In the past, she has practiced veterinary medicine at both shelters (Michigan Humane Society-Detroit) and private practices. Dr. Rebo continues to routinely volunteers as a surgeon for spay and neuter procedures as well as TNR sterilization programs in the area.
